Get more Sleep

Sleep-deprived women may be at greater risk of heart desease, according to the British Heart foundation. seven to eight hours is key, so turn all technology off by 10pm (yes even your mobile) and set you alarm for the same time everyday. There is also a link between having less then 6hours sleep and obesity, but its not clear why that is. Professor Brian Walker of Edinburgh Uni say poor sleep may cause an increase in levels of the stress hormone cortisol. High cortisol levels are associated with obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol he says. Your also far more likey to reach for high sugar and high fat snacks after a poor nights sleep.
So have a nice warm bubble bath a warm mug of milk and settle down for some much needed Zzzzzzz!
